If you are looking to supply keyboards for every seat in your conference room, or every seat in every conference room you administrate, you can get outstanding deals. Buying in bulk is the single greatest way to save money on almost anything you buy. If you have a secondary goal of supplying your conference room/s with something a little flashier than the typical keyboard, you can find some intriguing products on the market.

There are the always appreciated ergonomic keyboards which provide wrist relief from clicking and typing at awkward angles. You can also get flat, placemat-style keyboards which can be rolled up and stored when not needed (though these are quite expensive). To eliminate the need for mice at every keyboard, you can get keyboards with built-in trackballs. Of course, you can also get custom keyboards made in specific colors or with your company logo on them for less than you might think.

If you are not buying for your company but for yourself and you want to impress your colleagues, you might consider a gesture-driven keyboard. These items are usually near the same size as a regular keyboard but they use touchpad technology rather than actual keys. Simply touching the corresponding space, types the character represented therein. These pads also have mouse controls and function controls that are controlled by hand gestures. (It is somewhat hard to explain in words; look for a retailer if you are interested.)

Consider Buying Wireless Keyboards
The only difficulty in buying wireless keyboards for a room is delegating who is responsible for making sure they all have batteries. If everyone handles his or her own, it is less of a problem. Wireless keyboards give a clean look to a table that is probably a product of having only recently started the move from a world connected by wires. Whatever the reason, wireless is the wave of the future.
